A parrot sculpted with panache, in a graphic and almost meditative posture (yes, parrots can be introspective too). The material is noble: a glazed terracotta, with a deep and subtle rendering, in pale green tones typical of animal pieces of the period. All in perfect original condition: no cracks, no missing parts, not even a snag on the tail — which is rare on this type of sculpture.
