Vintage botanical board frame with blue flowers

Large offset print of a botanical illustration of Brachycoma iberidifolia, as shown under the pretty bouquet of blue flowers. The slightly yellowed, screened paper is bordered with an elegant, grooved border, similar to a Marie-Louise or intaglio mat. Very charming, although with numerous traces of age and small moisture stains (see close-up photos). The frame is made of dark wood with a stapled cardboard backing on the reverse. Dimensions: 42 x 32 cm.
