Distinctive Art Nouveau dining chair with carved details in solid wood, upholstered in mustard yellow velvet and adorned with brass nailhead trim. The curved supports and decorative wooden frame give the piece a refined Jugendstil character. This upholstered chair dates from around 1900–1910 and reflects the elegant and ornamental lines of early 20th-century Art Nouveau furniture. Made of solid wood with velvet upholstery and brass nailhead trim around the seat and backrest. The chair is in good antique condition, with age-related patina, visible signs of wear, scratches and scuffs on the wooden frame, worn edges, and discolouration/natural marks on the mustard velvet; the brass trim shows patina, while the chair remains beautiful and appears structurally intact.
