Painted Metal Flower Pot Set, Floral Tole Planters, French Country Jar

A beautiful set of three vintage painted metal flower pots, each with its own lovely floral character. The large oval blue planter is decorated with a garland of pale flowers, while the two smaller green pots feature delicate roses and blue flowers. With their softly faded colours, curved shapes and aged painted surfaces, they have a wonderfully romantic French country feel. Painted tole was traditionally used in France for decorative household pieces including jardinières, cache-pots and planters, making pieces like these especially charming for a country home or garden room. All three have beautiful age and character, with light wear, naturally crackled paint and small areas of paint loss consistent with their age. The green pots have more pronounced surface ageing and patina, while the blue planter has some light marks and wear to the painted finish. A lovely decorative set for displaying plants, dried flowers or simply enjoyed as colourful vintage objects.
