For sale: a magnificent console table (or trouser press) in an antique style, featuring beautiful craftsmanship and a lot of character. • Front: Superb rosewood marquetry / butterfly wing veneer, adorned with delicate floral inlays on both doors. • Top: Thick moulded marble in a beige/ochre veined colour, in excellent condition, without cracks. • Ornaments: Original gilded bronze fittings, keyholes, corner pieces, and feet. • Structure: The piece is sound, with a back panel in good condition. Overall condition: The furniture is generally in beautiful presentation condition, but it has some signs of age that justify its low price: • Slight veneer losses located at the bottom of the piece and on the feet (visible in close-up in the image). • The right lock entry has slight play/loss.
