Coffee table with ears of wheat, known as "Coco Chanel" 1970

This coffee table is the work of robert goossens, french goldsmith and jeweler, designed for gabrielle coco chanel in the 70s. It is composed of a round glass top resting on a patinated metal base. The base represents a sheaf of wheat ears tied in the center by a twisted tie. Icon of 20th century design, a piece for amateurs and collectors! An edition from the 70s in excellent condition, some micro scratches on the glass top and a mini 2 mm dent underneath (very minor defects, the bundle of wheat, by transparency attracts the eye) dimensions: height 47 cm. Base diameter: 70 cm. Glass diameter: 80 cm.
