Vintage wooden secretary with display case and drop-down front.

Vintage secretary combining display cabinet and storage unit, probably dating from the first half of the 20th century and structured with classic and functional lines. Crafted from warm-grained wood — likely oak or cherry — it stands out with its large glazed upper body, its drop-down front concealing a compartmentalised desk space with small drawers, as well as its lower storage. Its elegant proportions and retro character make it a charming centrepiece in a living room, office, or library. Condition: The piece is sound, perfectly stable and functional, with the drop-down front and drawers operating smoothly. The wood shows an authentic old patina, marked by a few superficial micro-scratches from use and slight signs of wear on the drop-down front's surface and edges. These discreet signs of time bear witness to its history and preserve the authenticity of its overall appearance.
