Md vintage furniture 70s

4 MODULES MD in light oak from the 60s/70s: a secretary, a bar, 2 bookshelves, storage. FOR INFO: The history of MD Furniture (Meuble Démontable / Martin Dupuis) Originally founded in 1920 by a Parisian bookseller, the MD Library manufacturing (which initially meant Meuble Démontable) became famous for its high-end modular and composable furniture system. The concept: From the 1950s to the early 1980s, the brand revolutionised furniture with interchangeable and stackable units (often in solid oak, mahogany, or cherry). This modular system allowed for the design of custom bookshelves, sideboards, or desks. The designers: The designer Pierre Cruège notably co-directed and revitalised the company from 1947 to 1953, and many timeless pieces remain associated with the creator Martin Dupuis (often abbreviated to M.D.).
