Superb Scandinavian dining set in teak from the 1960s. The table is stamped Samcom – Uldum Møbelfabrik (Denmark) and is attributed to the designer Johannes Andersen. It features beautiful organic lines typical of Danish design and has an integrated sliding extension of 68 cm. Table dimensions: Length: 152 cm. Length with extension: 220 cm. Width: 85 cm. Height: 72 cm. The four solid teak chairs are fitted with paper cord seats. Their design closely resembles the creations of Ejner Larsen & Aksel Bender Madsen for Glyngøre Stolefabrik. One chair retains its original weaving, while the other three have been restored with new high-quality weaving. The set is in very good overall condition with a lovely patina. The tabletop shows some normal signs of use for a piece of furniture over 60 years old, without affecting its aesthetics or sturdiness. A rare and elegant set, ideal for enthusiasts of Scandinavian furniture, Mid-Century design, and authentic Danish furnishings.
