Bronze sandstone pitcher from Louis Lourioux to Foecy. Louis Lourioux began his production in focy during the art nouveau period with motifs inspired by the animal and plant world, then he turned to an art deco style, more refined and geometric. This pitcher is part of a series that Louis Lourioux dedicates to cucurbitaceae, playing on the effects of colors and materials. Thus, this pitcher is decorated with small scales in very light relief, while the upper part and the cove, are smooth. The signature to the two wings, under the base, has been grinded, there is still the trace.
