Elegant 18th century solid oak display cabinet.

Very beautiful wall-mounted (or floor-standing) display case in solid oak. Most likely from the 18th century given the woodwork and the style. It opens with a large glass door thanks to its functional lock (with key). The glass itself, viewed at an angle, reveals all the small ripples that attest to its age; it is in perfect condition. Inside, 4 more modern wooden shelves have been added to display decorative objects or books. But it is the bottom of the cabinet that strikes here by its beauty and originality. It is in fact mounted like a cabinet door. All solid, it describes a very beautiful arch at the top which gives it a lot of character. A detail which matches the perfectly paneled sides (also solid). We notice the dowels which hold everything together, and the beautiful cornice at the top. On the top, we can clearly see the traces of the tools which were used to carve this wood a very long time ago. Shallow, very elegant while having a beautiful personality, this wall display case is in strict original patina.
