Sarreguemines U&C illustrated talking plate "Napoleon" 19th century.

This beautiful collector's plate is a talking plate dedicated to Napoleon. Made of Sarreguemines earthenware, it is stamped on the back with the black crest "U&C". This series can be dated to the 19th century. It belongs to a series of illustrated plates depicting the military uniforms of the Napoleonic army: no. 10 "New Imperial Guard - Voltigeur service and promenade uniform". The border is adorned with rocaille in shades of black and the Napoleonic "N". It measures 20.5 cm in diameter. In generally good condition, I note some signs of use and a tiny chip on the edge.
