Original engraving of the nineteenth century, from the book "picture of english society" by george du maurier number 22 "music at home", accompanied by the text explaining the scene with the dialogue between two protagonists. The engraving is signed in the plate of the illustrator "du maurier" and the engraver "swain" So british! The page is 34 cm wide and 24 cm high. The engraving (margins included) is 26 cm wide by about 20 cm high. In excellent condition, with a slight natural yellowing of the paper.
