Transition period chest of drawers in marquetry veneer

Here is a pretty chest of drawers from the transition period, louis xv-louis xvi, in rosewood marquetry. It opens onto three drawers. The draw rings have been changed. As for the chest of drawers, there is no doubt about the period, it is natural. The marble was cut as could be done in the 18th century (we took a photo of the back of the marble). It is chic with pretty proportions and raised drawers. As for the condition, note that the chest of drawers has not been prepared or restored, so defects due to age must be accepted. We report small jumps in veneer in places. However, this chest of drawers remains in presentable and acceptable condition, but has not left a restorer. We will not deliver by post for this type of item which is too bulky but we work with carriers, please contact us for a quote.
