Louis XVI period chest of drawers in solid walnut

Elegant Louis XVI period chest of drawers in solid walnut. Beautiful design quality, the thickness of the panels and sides are generous. The front crossbar and the feet are decorated with cha d'elles and gaudrons. The side crossbars are cut. This chest of drawers is surely a wedding gift, the marquetry on the top representing doves in a heart is proof of this. The patina is made with beeswax and the interiors are cleaned and glazed. This piece of furniture has survived the centuries of adventures. Revised in our workshop. Only minor restorations were necessary. L 127.5 d 56 l 89cm.
