Compactom brand mahogany English cabin wardrobe for men

A beautifully preserved mahogany and oak gentleman's wardrobe by Compactom Ltd. From London. Fitted with compartments, some with glass doors, gusset trays, and labeled rails. Opening via two doors, revealing a fully fitted interior, complete with original hanging rails and hangers on one side, and various shelves on the other, as well as two storage boxes in the base of the plinth. All original labels are intact, indicating the locations for storing shoes, shirts, underwear, gloves, accessories, pajamas, etc., as they were used at the time. Original Compactom and Royal Corporation of Signals stamp. The presence of a White Star Line label indicates that this wardrobe was used as cabin furniture on a passenger liner plying the Liverpool to New York route.
