Bonnetière in cherry wood from the Louis XV period, dating from the 18th century, featuring a beautiful warm patina and a particularly decorative façade. This piece of furniture opens with two large superimposed doors, separated by two drawers in the belt. The doors are adorned with moulded panels with curved outlines, embellished with scrolls, while the upper crosspiece features a discreet diamond pattern in marquetry. The façade is enhanced by beautiful cut metal lock entries, also present on the two drawers. The long visible metal fittings highlight the antique and regional character of the piece. The wide overhanging and moulded cornice adds a beautiful presence to the whole. The lower part rests on curved feet framing a sculpted and shaped crosspiece. The interior offers significant storage capacity with several levels. The inside of the doors and some shelves feature an old textile covering. A characterful piece, with generous proportions, whose bright hue and patina particularly highlight the wood's grain. Period: 18th century. Material: cherry wood. Width: 124 cm. Height: 211 cm. Depth: 66 cm. Overall good condition, with wear consistent with the age of the furniture.
