Moulded with a gendarme hat and relief sculptures along the uprights. Requires restoration. Depth 68 cm Width 108 cm Height 205 cm. Description of the furniture. • Type: narrow antique wardrobe with one door, probably originally intended for storing linen, crockery, or small items. • Style: the whole strongly evokes the Louis XV style / French regional style, with elements of traditional Provençal or southern furniture. • Wood: solid wood in oak, walnut, or possibly cherry, with a honey/brown hue and an old patina. • Front: O a large door made up of two moulded panels; O the upper panel features a shaped and carved frame, characteristic of Louis XV style furniture; O rather understated peripheral mouldings; O old vertical metal lock/lock entry, very decorative. • Upper part: an overhanging cornice, slightly curved and moulded, giving the piece a lot of presence. • Lower part: decorated lower rail and curved feet, with a shaped cutout.
