Vintage Italian design ball lamp from the 1970s.

Superb table lamp in "Space Age" style, emblematic of Italian design from the 1970s. The opaline glass globe diffuses a warm and enveloping light, highlighted by a tubular frame in red lacquered metal: a ring encircles the globe, while a second, larger ring forms the base — a very graphic play of circles, typical of the pop aesthetic of the time. Minor wear on the metal joints. Screw-in bulb included.
