Superb Danish modernist coffee table circa 1960, designed by the famous designer Arne Vodder (no label or marking on this piece of furniture but referenced model), manufactured and published by the renowned Dyrlund house. Entirely in teak, it consists of a box comprising 2 drawers crossing at the ends, delimiting an open niche, the whole resting on 4 spindle legs. Note the signature Vodder handles in the shape of a bow tie as well as the ingenious push ball system allowing the drawers to stop. The table is 140 cm long, 55 cm wide and 54 cm high. The drawers measure 27.5 cm wide by 48 cm deep and 5.5 cm high. Finally, the niche is 72 cm wide, 55 cm deep and 7 cm high. In excellent condition with a magnificent patina (we note some small scratches and a slight halo, see the last 3 photos of the top, without affecting the general aesthetics), this very beautiful table intended as a console, separating 2 spaces, can accommodate a very beautiful lamp and store your magazines and other remote controls... Not to be missed!!!.
