Large unique signed plate

Large beautiful unique handcrafted dish • A yellow base (probably a background glaze or coloured slip). • A dark glaze (black/dark brown) applied on top which, during firing, retracted to form "islands" or interconnected rounded patterns that evoke flowers or cells. This is a deliberate crawling effect (the molten glaze gathers into drops or thick plates with rounded edges, revealing the underlying colour between the patterns). This phenomenon is often sought after for its organic and textured appearance, marked by the potter. In good condition.
