Teak bowl, Danish design, 1960s, made in Denmark

This teak bowl was made in the 1960s in Denmark. An elegant, hand-turned bowl made of teak with a beautiful, warm tone and subtly visible grain. The square shape with rounded corners is a classic of modernist design – simple, yet very refined in appearance. Thanks to its solid form and perfectly contoured sides, the bowl looks exceptionally decorative – it is ideal as a table centrepiece, for fruit, or as a standalone sculptural ornament in the spirit of mid-century modern.
