Charles Dudouyt straw-seated armchair from the 1950s. This lovely vintage armchair in beech and straw features typical modernist lines: simple, sturdy, for a quality piece with authentic charm. Charles Dudouyt, an illustrator by trade, trained in cabinetmaking at the beginning of the 20th century and passionately dedicated himself to designing furniture and lighting in the 1920s. From the 1930s onward, he founded the Atelier and Galerie de la Gentilhommière in Paris and designed numerous pieces of furniture on a larger scale, praised for their sturdiness and the authenticity of their lines. This armchair has been cleaned and restored in our workshop. Ideal for an office, library, or even a conservatory, it will be a lasting addition to your home. Seat height: 64 cm.
