Swedish grace, game table with relief meander decoration, 1920s/30s.

Game/occasional table Grace, Swedish, painted in black, blue, and beige with golden details. Folded, edge with raised meander border, foot with crowned columns. A magnificent example of work from this period in Sweden. A beautiful eccentric piece with a neoclassical element. The top of the folding table is not stable when unfolded, but stable to use as an occasional table. Some signs of wear and age, a small loss of colour on the upper edge of the table. Overall, it has stood the test of time well.
