Vintage fluted enameled earthenware potter's salad bowl

The small salad bowl is in perfect condition, no accidents, no cracks or chips. It is very well made, heavy and opulent, it was turned, then enameled with a beautiful off-white, slightly translucent enamel, which reveals the red earth. The enamel is satin-finish on the flat surfaces, and brighter on the reliefs, which brings a particular refinement to this piece. The grooves which adorn the exterior of the salad bowl thus create a very rich graphic play of materials. The piece is marked on the side, halfway up, hollowed out under enamel. The pastel colors observed inside the salad bowl in the photos are due to reflections of light, in reality, the salad bowl is enameled off-white-beige, tending towards very light gray. Very pretty potter's piece of unidentified provenance, from the second half of the 20th century.
