"59" coffee table by Pierre Guariche, Meurop edition in 1959 (this is the very first version of this table, then produced until 1967 with a different base). Black lacquered metal legs, sycamore veneered chipboard top. In very good vintage condition, reprocessed tray revealing some traces of use and minor minor defects. Base left intact, with traces of use and superficial oxidation in various places. Nice general appearance. Sycamore veneer is very rare on furniture produced by Meurop, and would have only been used for a few months in 1959.
