Chairs at the cathedral

Set of 2 chairs at the cathedral style gothic late nineteenth. The neo-gothic chair at the cathedral takes its name from its high straight and vertical back finished in pinnacles, fleurons and bell towers. In the nineteenth century, from 1820, the romantic movement reinterpreted the rich and sumptuous architectural period of the late middle ages, including the flamboyant gothic style churches. The backs of the chairs are openwork with windows and pointed arches, like the stained glass windows of cathedrals. The legs form columns with cut or twisted sides, the seat is padded and has been renovated with a red fabric.
