French Neorenaissance lamp

Spectacular Mid Century lamp in Neo-Renaissance style, probably of French origin from the 1950s. The piece features a highly crafted central structure made of zamak/brass alloy, with a shaft composed of several turned and embossed sections, topped with a floral vase or cup that holds the shade. The base is wide, low-profile, with four zoomorphic legs or supports that provide visual and physical stability. The central body showcases great beauty in the turning of the shapes, with intricate detail. The shade is made of white opaline blown glass in the shape of a mushroom, which softly diffuses the light, creating a truly welcoming atmosphere. It is in excellent condition.
