Column candle holder in ceramic with green and gold marble effect.

Beautiful column candle holder in ceramic, with glazing that replicates the appearance of a lovely fir green marble with white veining, enhanced by two golden stripes. The imitation is stunning and raises the question: how was this rather original glazing achieved? Therefore, it's difficult to date this candle holder; instinctively, with this green glazing and the golden highlights, I would say the 1950s, but I have no certainty for this object. It's also challenging to capture the exact colour in photos (my camera doesn't like greens!), in reality, this candle holder is a tad more green (less blue), and the last photo (view of the dish from below) is the most faithful to reality in terms of green, but consequently, the white veining is more apparent than in reality. This candle holder is in very good condition, with no cracks or chips, just a micro-nick on the glazing in the dish, which blends into the decor (a small white dot visible in the photo of the top of the dish). This candle holder measures 20 cm in height, 6.2 cm in diameter at the dish, 8 cm in diameter at the base, and approximately 3.5 cm in diameter at the shaft. The candle holder has an opening with a diameter of about 2 cm that narrows towards the bottom.
