Brutalist coffee table by sensible. Cement tiles. Ceramic motifs depicting Paleolithic hunting scenes. Twisted wrought iron base. Circa 1960. -- The number and variety of motifs contribute to making this sensible table a rare and exceptional piece among the productions of the same artist. No two motives are exactly the same as another. A relief is rendered by a particular treatment of ceramics, recalling the irregularities of parietal paintings. The twisted brutalist base is just as rare for known tables of the same inspiration. This is probably a special order.
