Coffee Table with Natural Stone Top, 1970's

A square coffee table reminiscent of paul kingma's work, presumably made in the netherlands in the 1970's.  The tabletop is constructed with squares of different types of natural stone, e.g. Slate. It rests on a black lacquered steel base.  This item shows little traces of wear and use (such as corrosion on the metal frame), normal for its age.
