The desk features three drawers in the frieze and two pedestals: one with three drawers and the other with a lockable door. The drawers, door, and sides boast exquisite molding work. The height below the frieze is 65 cm, providing a comfortable seating position (which is often considered too low). The top is covered in beige leather with a Directoire-style design and gilt tooling.
