Old painting, Marine with boats signed Marie Piat (1880-1977), 30s/40s

Very beautiful marine, oil on paper or cardboard representing fishermen's boats at the docks with two fishermen on one of them. It is signed lower right marie piat (1880 -1977, painter from forèz who has participated in numerous fine arts exhibitions, and in particular with the forèz arts society. It is framed with a magnificent frame of period in gilded wood, decorated with friezes, and protected by glass. Condition: in perfect condition, except for some small dust at the bottom of the frame on the mat and a very small missing part of the frame (see photos). Above all, we will notice here the dexterity and talent of the painter who uses bright colors to bring this scene of returning from fishing to life.
