Vintage design. Mid-century minimalist umbrella stand made of perforated metal in red and black. Cubic shapes and clean lines run through this design. From the base to the frame, including the square perforation of the sheet metal. The perforated frame for placing umbrellas floats like a transparent body at the lower third of the handle. A solid cast-iron cuboid serves as the base, into which a compartment of red lacquered sheet metal is inserted. The T-shaped handle at the top of the shaft is striking. The design recalls the minimalist language and materiality of the Dutch manufacturer Pastoe. Unfortunately, the manufacturer of this umbrella stand is currently unknown.
