Coffee service Vallauris Grandjean-Jourdan

Nice find that this mid-century coffee service from vallauris. We have fallen for its originality, both in terms of the trompe l'oeil motif and the very stylized shapes of the pieces that compose it. The idea of imitating olive wood was born by chance when a ceramicist sought to blur with a cotton the brushstrokes of the wood-colored bottoms of one of his ceramics. Since then, the famous faux wood motif has made the grandjean-jourdan father and son, sébastien and eugene famous. The bright colours chosen for the interior of the rooms add a touch of pep to the service that will bring vivacity and joviality to the coffee hour. The service consists of a coffee maker, 6 cups and saucers and a sugar bowl. The whole thing is in perfect condition except for a very light gin on the edge of the sugar bowl (see photo).
