Secretary at the Louis XVI period (Stamped N. Petit & JME)

Veneer wood cut-off secretary decorated with rosettes and nets. It opens with a drawer, a lid and two leaves. Swedges with cut sides with simulated flutes terminated by leafy feet. Chiseled and gilded bronzes such as rulers, triglyphs and rosettes. St. Anne's marble top. Stamped n. Petit and jme. Epoque louis XVI. H. 145 cm. W. 114 cm. D. 44 cm. (accident at the flap) nicolas petit, received master in 1761.
