Brutalist drink service in volcanic ceramic Fat Lava (H25 cm) - 5

A raw, sculptural centrepiece that is decidedly Rock'n'roll for your interior. I am selling this spectacular and large vintage 5-piece tableware set, which includes 1 large jug (pitcher/carafe) and 4 matching large cups (mugs) made of artistic ceramic from the 60s/70s. A set with a strong and bold design, perfect for brutalist, modernist decor or a curiosity cabinet. Each piece is a true work of sculpted pottery, characterised by organic lines and beautiful hollow handles at the base, creating a lovely play of transparency. The glazing is a remarkable technical feat: the upper part features a glossy black glaze from which a vibrant volcanic lava red drip emerges. It contrasts beautifully with the lower part of the pieces, treated with a textured glaze in the style of "sea foam" / "Fat Lava" in emerald green, turquoise, and black shades, adding a rough tactile relief. Jug: Height 25 cm. Cups (x4): Height 14 cm. Condition: Used condition. The set has retained its splendour, and the glazing is extremely shiny. Please note: the pieces show some small chips and visible glaze skips from use (see photos), which is reflected in the price. These signs of time do not detract from its sturdiness or its incredible decorative presence. Collection in person is possible within a 20 km radius of Amiens.
