Superb vintage orangeade service by Claude Paci, made in Vallauris (France). A very beautiful complete set consisting of a large jug and 6 handled mugs, totalling 7 pieces, in glazed ceramic. The piece is appealing due to its generous and streamlined shapes, its speckled decoration in warm sandy, beige, and brown tones, as well as its nuanced glaze that particularly highlights the material. The set has an aesthetic that is very representative of French ceramics from the 60s/70s, with simple and sculptural lines that fit beautifully within the modernist and brutalist spirit of that period. Each piece is marked on the underside with Claude Paci's monogram, stamped into the clay.
