Silver serving dish by Franco Lapini with boar sculpture.

In this listing, you will find a striking silver centrepiece or serving platter in Hollywood Regency style, designed by Franco Lapini. It features a central sculpture of a seated wild boar, surrounded by decorative elements representing oak leaves and acorns. The works of Franco Lapini are extremely decorative and quite hard to find. The piece is signed underneath the platter. Made in Italy in the 1970s. The platter is in very good vintage condition with some signs of age and use, such as patina and areas where the silver plating has worn off.
