Art ceramic vase Coulobres pottery

Elevate your decor with this remarkable and authentic art ceramic vase, from the famous artisanal productions of the Poterie de Coulobres (Hérault, France). Made during the 1960s/1970s, this piece perfectly embodies the return to the warm and sunny hues of the South of France. In the so-called "amphora" shape, this vase features two large curved side handles. It showcases a bright yellow ochre/mustard glaze that is particularly luminous. The neck, upper lip, and handles are enhanced with a contrasting dark brown glaze with deep reflections, typical of the craftsmanship of this workshop. The artisan's signature "Coulobres" is hand-engraved very legibly under the base. An ideal piece for collectors of retro ceramics or to add a warm Mid-Century Modern touch to your interior (perfect for dried flowers). Dimensions: Height: 27 cm. Diameter at the neck: 9.5 cm.
