Vintage ashtray in the shape of a bird, glazed ceramic in brown and orange. Beautiful decorative bowl shaped like a bird with a long curved neck, its head tilted towards its plumage. The body forms a hollow bowl, ideal as a catch-all for keys, coins, jewelry, or rings. The plumage is finely hand-painted in orange strokes on a dark brown background, under a very deep glossy glaze, resembling scales or lacquer. The details are meticulous: raised orange eye, marked beak, individually drawn feathers. The finish recalls French decorative ceramics from the 60s-70s.
