This original teak chair, model 31, was designed in the 1960s by Kai Kristiansen for Schou Andersen and exemplifies the craftsmanship of Danish mid-century modern design. The chair measures H: 76 / W: 50 / D: 51 cm, with a seat height of 47 cm. Its ergonomic form is enhanced by a wide seat pad and a sculpted backrest, offering both comfort and refined aesthetics. The frame is made of solid teak and showcases the wood’s beautifully exposed grain. The chair has been reupholstered in natural wool fabric in a light brick colour. Thanks to its minimalist upholstery, this chair will blend seamlessly into a dining room or other interior, while still drawing attention to its exquisitely sculpted frame and distinctive character. The chair has been fully renovated. The teak frame has been cleaned and treated with protective oil to enhance the grain. The new natural wool upholstery and new foam provide both comfort and durability. Overall, the chair is in perfect condition. A set of 3 chairs is also available under item number 25504.
