Set of four 1960s Danish dining chairs designed by Kai Kristiansen, model "Pige", in oak, with new upholstery in ecru fabric. Four chairs designed by Danish designer Kai Kristiansen, model "Pige", 1960s. The design centres on the angled supports which, together with the rear legs, form an "A" and carry the curved backrest. The oak frame, with tapered legs and exposed front leg tops, contrasts with the darker wood of the back supports. Kristiansen is among the most consistent interpreters of Danish functionalism, attentive to proportion and ergonomics. Padding and upholstery fully renewed in a washable ecru fabric. Good condition.
