Rare pair of opal bulb lamps by Ingo Maurer, Murano, 1966. Very beautiful soft and powerful brightness thanks to these magnificent original Murano opalines. Pop art design. This model is no longer produced in the Murano opal version. Original edition of excellent quality. Presence of the Murano label. Bulb is the first light fixture by Ingo Maurer designed in 1966. Here is the "bulb opal" model. Oversized opaline glass bulb blown in Murano, metal base. Chromed. A true design icon that has been part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York since 1968. Very decorative, just as beautiful when lit as when off, perfect for modern and chic interiors. Very good condition despite a few minor defects that are inconsequential (a very slight chip at the base of one of the opalines that is inconsequential and invisible once assembled, and a slight impact behind each lamp at the cable exit, see photos.) Dimensions: width 20 cm x depth 20 cm x height 30 cm. Shipping in 2 parcels + insurance + professional packaging.
