Vase by Angelo Mangiarotti for Fratelli Brambilla

Fantastic free-form vase by Angelo Mangiarotti (1921–2012) in a beautiful blue colour for Fratelli Brambilla Milano. Mangiarotti was a man of many talents and one of the great designers of the 20th century. He is known for his marble tables and lighting, but he also made his mark in ceramics. Throughout his career, he designed several avant-garde ceramic vases and sculptures for various companies. In the case of Fratelli Brambilla, he produced a series of vases in different shapes, sizes, and colours. This is an excellent example in one of the most joyful colours in the world. It shines with a deep blue, and thanks to its free form, this vase never becomes boring. A true quality product. Excellent condition and signed at the bottom.
