Superb portrait of a woman from the end of the 19th century, done in oil on canvas in the style of the french school. The woman, seated in an armchair, wears an elegant black dress with a lace collar decorated with a cameo. A vase of flowers is at her side. Her calm and serene face reflects the gentleness of the time. The work is framed in a gilded wooden frame, decorated with acanthus leaves.
