Giovanni Offredi is an Italian designer active in the 1970s and 80s, whose production for the Saporiti Italia publisher embodies late Seventies Milanese elegance. His Wave series (1974), composed of a sofa, armchair and pouf with biomorphic curves in padded foam, remains his most iconic piece. With his Paracarro table, Sirenetta table and lamps for Stilnovo, he signed a coherent body of work where Italian formal audacity combined with resolutely contemporary comfort.
