Description
Period: ca. 1890-1920. A set of three trundle tables that have an extra charm thanks to the sides made of trellis. The smallest table also has the back and lattice spacer top. The oak tops are a lighter color than the feet, which are also made of oak. The trays are adorned with marquetry nets around the edges. The thin legs have transverse slats for extra stability (these tables are not intended to gain much weight). The tables slide into each other and are actually hung on the upper level via a groove. State: These tables have been restored. The inlaid nets with all the small squares were undone and these were stabilized with shellac and some sections were replaced. The trays were completely sanded, tinted and waxed. Each table received an additional transverse slat to add stability. These tables must be treated with delicacy. Size: See photo.
