Saint-louis series of 6 dessert plates in saint-louis crystal 1930 décor 190

This magnificent series of 6 crystal plates comes from the crystal factory of saint-louis. This set is not signed, but this model is found in the catalogs of 1930 numbered 190 plate 14. The overlay technique is a specialty of saint-louis: a first transparent crystal parison is covered with a second green parison, then it is cut to reveal the underlying crystal. It is a delightful set of 6 dessert plates. In crystal lined with a deep green parison, perfect transparency and high quality, the cut is precise and fine, made with the wheel. The bottom is carved with a rose window. In good condition, they measure 15.5 cm in diameter. I report traces of use and small chips at the edge.
