Beveled floor mirror on art deco frame

Here is a very large floor mirror (circa 1940-50) that once served as a door for a large piece of furniture probably of art deco trend. It is beautiful and in perfect condition, which is rare for such an object. This mirror is really very large: 1m62. It could serve as a fixed psyche if the term were not a largely faulty pleonasm. Indeed, this large mirror is beveled and bent in its upper part. It has only a few very slight bites, just as it should be so as not to betray its age. The solid wood surround is clear, elegant also thanks to discreet and fine uprights and supports for such a set. The balance is perfect. The sculptures on the arched tympanum, sober, give to see two flowers, all simple for an exceptional rendering. The back itself (covered with a wooden panel) demonstrates an attention that explains the general condition. The locks and hinges have been removed, only the brass handle has remained to bring a nice extra vintage touch to the whole. In a room, an entrance, or even a corridor, it will offer additional depth and brightness while bringing its touch for an ever more delicate decoration.
